Medieval wedding commission

(Sometimes, titles are just a rummage through the thesaurus...)
Right, first things first, anime, yes... Hasn't been my personal choice of style for a long, long time. However, when a friend asked for a special commission for her friends wedding to be in an anime style, I couldn't say no.
As just stated, this was for a friend-of-a-friend's wedding. The illustration went onto a cover of a fantasy-fiction book especially written and created for the wedding. Fantastic gift, isn't it? Even more fitting is the fact that the wedding was a medieval-themed do!
Back to the illustration, the brief was to create an anime-esq illustration in a medieval theme, with bright colours and to have a slight mystical feel to it all. Despite the fixed-anime style, I feel I put my own into it with the colouring - although it's brighter and bolder than usual, as requested. I'm really pleased with how it came out in the (ever so slightly rushed!!) time frame.
If I get some photos of the final book I'll be sure to share them!

Loving the bright colours! Although I gotta say I prefer your usual style. Still, it's a nice piece it's just a compliment to your other pieces :)

Very nice! good colours and nice simple style. It looks like something out of a kids story book, which is cool
